Privacy & Cookie Policy
Last updated: 12 July 2026
This policy explains how belphysio.ie collects, uses and protects information, and how cookies and similar technologies are used on this site. Belphysio is the practice of Bel, a CORU-registered physiotherapist practising at Alex Horgan Physiotherapy, Clontarf, Dublin.
Who is responsible for your data
Belphysio (Alex Horgan Physiotherapy), 94 Seafield Road East, Clontarf, Dublin, D03 R278, Ireland, is the data controller for information submitted through this website. For any privacy question, contact belnascimento@icloud.com.
What information we collect
When you fill in a form on this site (booking request, testimonial, or question), we collect what you choose to submit, which may include your name, phone number or email, and details about your treatment needs. Forms are processed through Netlify Forms and delivered by email; submissions are not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses a small number of cookies and third-party services necessary for it to function:
- Google Maps — the map embedded in the Contact section is provided by Google and may set its own cookies and collect usage data when loaded, in line with Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — some typefaces used on this site are loaded from Google's servers, which involves your device contacting Google to retrieve font files.
- Netlify Forms — used to process form submissions securely; see Netlify's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics — used, only if you accept cookies, to understand how visitors use this site (e.g. which pages are viewed). This sets analytics cookies and shares anonymised usage data with Google. It is not loaded until you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. See Google's Privacy Policy and how to opt out of Google Analytics.
- Google Ads — used, only if you accept cookies, to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns (for example, whether someone who clicked an ad went on to book an appointment). Like Google Analytics, this is not loaded until you accept the cookie banner. See how Google uses data for ads.
- Local storage — a small note is stored in your browser to remember your cookie choice, so the banner doesn't reappear on every visit.
Google Maps and Google Fonts load automatically, as they're needed for the site's core functionality (showing the clinic's location and displaying text correctly). Google Analytics is optional and only runs if you accept cookies. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for belphysio.ie, which will show the banner again on your next visit.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact belnascimento@icloud.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission.
How long we keep information
Information submitted through forms is kept only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry or provide treatment, and in line with standard healthcare record-keeping requirements.
